Let's play at Kuju-Waita Observation Park! Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Kuju Mountain Range, and we value interaction and hands-on experiences. The Tourist Park within the grounds offers harvest experiences.

Kurokawa Onsen
Along a richly natural valley, inns of various styles stand side by side, creating an atmosphere where the entire hot spring town feels like one large open-air bath.
The 'Nyuto Tegata' (Hot Spring Hopping Pass), which allows entry to the baths of various ryokan, is very popular, enabling visitors to enjoy a tour of the different hot springs.

Manganji Onsen
Nestled quietly in the mountains, Manganji Onsen features a scattering of traditional toji (hot spring cure) inns. It is highly recommended for those who wish to slowly immerse themselves in hot springs within a simple and tranquil environment.
The spring water, known for its benefits for neuralgia and fatigue recovery, offers a space where mind and body can truly be healed.

Oshitoishi Hill
Oshitoishi Hill is a natural scenic spot located in Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture, situated on a small hill at an elevation of 845 meters.
Ancient megalithic stones are scattered across the hilltop, and it is also known as a power spot.
From the spacious grassland where a pleasant breeze sweeps through, you can enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of the Aso Five Peaks, the Kuju Mountain Range, and more.
The scenery is particularly mystical during sunrise and sunset. It is also a popular filming location for movies and TV commercials.

Tateiwa Water Source Park
Tateiwa Water Source Park is a beautiful park featuring pure spring water originating from the Aso Caldera.
The 'Tateiwa Water Source' has been selected as one of Japan's 100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters, and within the park, you can stroll amidst its beautiful spring water and lush green nature.
Cool in the summer and equipped with a water drawing station, it has become a popular place for locals and tourists to relax and gather.
It's a perfect spot to easily enjoy nature.

Nakaharakumanoza Shrine
Nakaharakumanoza Shrine enshrines three deities, including Hayamikatama-no-Mikoto, the child of Takeiwatatsu-no-Mikoto. Many agricultural rituals and festivals are held here.
The approach to the shrine, surrounded by ancient cedar trees, features a flowing stream, and a main hall (Haiden) with over 300 years of history stands solemnly.
Additionally, there is a rare shrine dedicated to catfish (namazu), which is revered as a deity of agriculture and bountiful harvests.

Hikyo Nanataki
Hikyo Nanataki (Seven Waterfalls of the Hidden Region) is a collective term for seven unique waterfalls nestled deep within Minamioguni Town, in a place where untouched nature still remains.
Unlike famous, more tourist-developed waterfalls, these are truly worthy of being called a 'hidden region,' encountered only after traversing rugged mountain paths and walking trails.
The journey to reach them is also a significant part of their charm, allowing you to enjoy an adventurous spirit while appreciating the beautiful scenery of lush forests and valleys.

Take no Kuma no Okeyaki
This is a giant Zelkova tree, hundreds of years old. Its majestic form and thick branches extending in all directions are distinctive, possessing an overwhelming presence that impresses all who see it.
It can truly be called a solemn giant tree, allowing visitors to feel the rich nature and history of Minamioguni Town. Upon your visit, you may find yourself deeply moved by its vitality and the eternal flow of time.

Kiyora Casa
Kiyora Casa is a convenient facility in Minamioguni Town, gathering all of its 'delicious foods,' 'great products,' and 'fun activities,' making it useful for both tourists and locals.

It is located within 'Kuju-Waita Observation Park,' where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Kuju Mountain Range, which is also selected as one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains, and delight in seasonal flowers.
On weekends only, you can also enjoy freshly made Baumkuchen and soft-serve ice cream at our workshop, so please be sure to stop by!

Ōgi-so
Ōgi-so is the sole inn of Ōgi Onsen.
It is nestled quietly in a secluded mountain village, offering an environment that seemingly blends into the highland and lush green trees, overlooking the Aso mountain range.
If you listen closely, you can hear the rustling of the trees and the chirping of small birds.
