The total area of our Jerusalem artichoke fields combined exceeds 3 hectares.

Minamioguni-machi, known as “Kiyora no Sato” (Village of Clear Waters), is home to many popular hot spring resorts, including Kurokawa Onsen, and boasts natural landscapes such as Senomoto Kogen. As “One of the Most Beautiful Villages in Japan,” it attracts numerous tourists. We lovingly offer you Jerusalem artichokes, robustly grown in this vast natural environment.

What is “The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan” Alliance?
It is an organization dedicated to preserving Japan’s irreplaceable rural landscapes, environments, and cultures, ensuring these beautiful regions continue to thrive for future generations. Its objective is to enhance tourism value by protecting local landscapes and cultures, thereby contributing to both the preservation of regional resources and the development of local economies.

Membership Criteria for "The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan" Alliance

(1) The population from the most recent national census should generally be 10,000 people or less.

(2) The region must possess at least two of the following local resources:
・Landscape: Refers to landscapes created through daily life and activities.
・Environment: A rich natural environment or a town/village environment that actively utilizes its natural surroundings.
・Culture: Traditional festivals, local culture, historical buildings, etc.

(3) In addition, the Alliance will evaluate and decide based on activities that leverage local resources, such as:
・Engaging in town planning that considers beautiful landscapes.
・Conducting innovative community activities driven by residents.
・Diligently preserving unique local crafts or lifestyles, etc.
